Christmas is over- Now what?

Lost for something to do now that Christmas Day has passed? Round the family up and head to Columbia, Maryland for an enjoyable excursion to see the Symphony of Lights.

Conveniently located in downtown Columbia's Symphony Woods, the display is open for vehicles  through Sunday, January 3, 2010.

Now in its 16th year, is a long-standing tradition for Howard County and neighboring County residents. A spectacular display of more than 70 larger-than-life, animated and stationary light creations, it is a "must-see" during the holiday season. Tune your radio to the designated station and slowly cruise along. The vehicle will be filled with ooo's and aaaah's

Hi Ellie!  We have McAdenville, a small mill town near Charlotte, that host a gorgeous light show every year and this year was spectacular!  Just as you said, there are lots of 'oohs and ahhs' as you drive slowly through--I always want to go back again!

Hope your holiday was wonderful and Happy New Year!

Ellie, I love your photos!  I'm just figuring out the night time settings on my new little camera.  And sometimes the magic works.  Looks like you have it down.
