One of our favorite places!

One of our favorite places to visit is The Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina.  If you've never been there and you get the chance don't pass it by.  The house itself is absolutely amazing but there's so much more to see and do.

This time of year the Christmas decorations are absolutely gorgeous.  There are dozens of hand decorated Christmas trees, including a 35-foot Fraser fir in the Banquet Hall. There are Hundreds of wreaths and garlands that will just amaze you.  And the mountain views are spectacular; a photographers dream come true!  There are a number of restaurants (one built in the old stables) a winery and so much more.  If you would like to check it out I've included a link to their website below.   It is truly an amazing place!!

Never been there (yet), but it sounds wonderful, especially at Christmas!  Thanks for sharing.

I was ready for a beautiful picture.  I have always wanted to see the place... one of these days.

The grand home and the surrounding acres are just breathtaking!  My family and I vacationed near by and made The Biltmore a day trip  We were in awe.  You need to see it, photos don't do it justice.  And, I believe it is still privately owned.
