Pet Exerciser - Annoying Times Ten!

Pet Exerciser - Annoying Times Ten!

We have two miniature Schnauzers and they are getting more exercise this winter than ever without us having to go out into the cold.

Pet Exercizer - Annoying Times Ten!The TV commercial for Papa Murphy's Pizza is a ringing doorbell and could not be more annoying.  It comes out of nowhere, and you don't get a chance to mute the TV, as the ring comes first.  The "boys" go absolutely nuts, barking and running around, and if you know Schnauzers then you know they are absolutely impossible to quiet down after they get started.  It takes about a full three minutes of carrying on before they calm down.  Then they'll still run around the house flinging an occassional bark over their shoulder, just in case!

One night we had six of these horrible commercials in a two-hour period.

The dogs are getting in great shape and so am I, because I won't eat their pizza again!

I love Papa Murphy's pizzas for the most part. And, gosh, if I had to stop eating food from every company with horrible commercials, I may never eat again! =)

That is hilarious, I would stop buying there pizza also...aside from the fact that it is very blase.  I see a product idea here for pet owners brewing...

This is hilarious. I guess this is one way to loose weight.  LOL  Best of luck with your "boys."

Thanks for your comments.  The "no pizza" diet is going well, but the commercial is still driving me crazy!

We have two Austrailian Shepperds and the same thing happen with the door bell commercials.  We just laugh it off - they need to have fun too! Aren't pet fun!

My Border Jack (half border collie, half Jack Russell) from Ireland is 14 and still goes CRAZY when a doorbell rings (on TV, or in the house) and no amount of training works on him to stop this!  He also carries on when the phone rings.  Must be something about ringing bells that gets these boys to go bonkers!

Too funny.  I haven't had pets in years......they would starve by the time I make it home.

Gary, I know that must be very frustrating for you when you dogs are barking at the door and you can't get them to stop. My mom has a dog that does the same thing and it drives her crazy.

We don't have Papa Murphy's pizza here in Canada so I haven't seen the commercial. I think I'd give up TV Gary.  I think the barking would drive me crazy.  So once they are at the front door I guess they want to go out ?  Or just try to scare away whoever they think is there?

More opinions than you want to hear about.

That is like the radio commercials that start out with a car horn or a siren.  Scares me everytime I hear one while driving, and much more unsafe than the doorbell thing.  It's not an issue for me.  Unfortunately, I lost both my dogs last July and still don't have replacements for them.  Trust me, it could be worse.

You would think "the boys" would finally figure out it's not someone at the door, but it still gets them every time!
