If you get an ABR to be an Accredited BUYER's Rep, what will you tell sellers when they ask why you don't have a designation for them?  I think designations are ridiculous because you can't "specialize" in everything, but you need to know all aspects of both sides of the transactions, and you need to make sure your clients know you can help them sell and buy and that they don't need separate agents for that.

I think that the GRI would be the best one for you to start with if offered in your area!  The course covers every aspect of the business and there are no yearly fees involved (at least here in AZ) to use and maintain the designation!  All the best in 2010!
