What Do Your Listing Photographs Say....

By

Pictures speak a thousand words... but are they the right words.  What do yours say?  "Look at me, look at me!" or "Next please!"  In our age of shortened attention spands and the world wide web, images are more important than ever.  Images need to be inviting, comforting... they need to show character and above all else they need to grab your potential buyers attention.  Buyers need something that keep them coming back to a listing as they skim from one home to another.  The process for potential buyers can be overwhelming and quite boring.  Make them stop dead in their tracks.

Obviously hiring a professional photographer (particularly in this market) is not the right choice for every listing.  However, for those high-end listings that will bring in the moola, splurge.  Show your clients that you mean buisiness.  That you have their best interests in mind and are going to the end of the earth to make this property sell.  Eyes widen and ears perk up when you mention that a professional is going to photograph their property if they sign with you.  It even clinches some deals.

In the end, your buisiness grows by word of mouth.  You want your clients telling EVERYONE that you do everything to sell a home, property or buisiness.

Joseph, it kills me to pull up a listing on MLS and there is only one picture. Sometimes it is not even of the home.

I know.  That's pretty much how I got started in real estate photography.  I was amazed at how little effort some agents put into their listings.  I had to do something... lol.

Joe...Nice to see you back!  You are by far my favorite photographer.  I was just showing people the other day your work.  And yes, handing out your business cards.
