Ann, There's nothing like a sunset - no two are ever the same, are they?  And that's the really great thing about them.

Perfect timing, Ann! I really like when the sun lights the underside of clouds as the sky fades to night.

Thank you for the sunset, Ann.  We haven't seen the sun in over a week.   I am starting to get ricketts.  Do you like largemouth bass?  I have a four to five pounder that just hovers in our drain tile during the winter.  He is fun to watch!

Hi Ann.  If you will look in the ice eyes picture you can see one of the drainage tiles to the left of the chairs.  It juts out into the pond a couple of feet.  One of them is the storm drain from the streets and it empties into the pond.  It normally carries about 6 inches of water in it, and at the base it is deeper and it is the last part of the pond to freeze up because of the flow of water into the pond.  Since writing that comment I saw two large bass hovering around at the entrance to the drain tile as it had an opening of about three feet that wasn't frozen over.  Beautiful fish!
