Colorado Springs Realtor - Cherise Selley - The Best Deal for First-Time Homebuyers

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Selley Group Real Estate, LLC

Plainly stated, the lowest price tag on a Colorado Springs Real Estate home might not actually be the best deal.  Cherise Selley, who is top-tier among Colorado Springs Realtors, explains the best deal for the first-time homebuyer is based on what he or she can afford in the long-term.  Short-term interest loans or finding the cheapest property oftentimes does not equate to prudent decision-making when getting the best deal for the dollar.  And regarding the property itself, it’s really not wise to invest in a “money-pit” to get the biggest bang for the buck.

Hi Cherise!  I just love your marketing--Your videos are informative but, not overwhelming.  They're just the right length and stay on-topic.  This is just what the consumer is looking for!  GREAT job!

I haven't gotten the 'nerve' to do these videos yet but, KNOW I need to do so--I'm just SO 'southern' and think it sounds worse when recorded!  LOL  One day... ;-)

That's where buyers ran into trouble before - they bought more than they could afford.  Our job is to help buyers buy what will work for them - now and in the future.  Only buy what you can afford!

Cherise...Having worked with you on many of your first time home buyer clients, I am always impressed how well you understand their situations and goals before providing prudent counsel. It is a pleasure to work with such an honest, ethical and caring professional such as yourself.

Cherise, I like the term money pit. I have seen this happen many times and people are out of them in eight months. They get in over their heads. Total cost of ownership...
