Real Estate Cyberspace Society

By
Real Estate Agent with Russell Realty

Hello All,

I am curious about the RE CyberSpace Society.  I signed up earlier this year and have not had a great deal of time to work with the site.  I would like to know if others out there have joined this group and what their thoughts and opinions are on it.

If you have no knowledge of this group and would like more information, you can clikc on the link below.

Thanks in advance.

hmmmmm, is this a real question or an attempt to get people over to the different site?  I've not heard of it and almost think that there is too much stuff to difuse our energy.  I like Active Rain.

I joined a long time ago.  At that time they had a lot of good information about technology, web pages etc.  Then came e-pro -- I also got that designation.   At the time the cyberspace society had a lot more helpful information that I got out of the e-pro course.  However, if you have a lot of technical background, you probably will find these groups less valuable.  They don't have anything to do with social networking -- they are to help with all sorts of technology, webpage, seo etc. topics.

Thanks for the responses.  I am also and e-PRO and have been for several years.  I have over 20 years of IT background before changing careers.  I joined this group to see what it was all about.  I don't know that I will renew.

Re Joans comment: "They don't have anything to do with social networking"

The Society produces that absolute largest real estate social networking event on the Internet- The National Real Estate On-Line Convention where over 40,000 real estate pros get together online in one week learning and sharing together. That's' real estate social networking at its best! See: http://recyber.cyberconventions.com/

Kindest regards

Being a member of the Society is very helpful, there are more tools and services than one could need, but you just have to pick and chose what you need at the time!  Also they are hosting This on-line real estate Convention that is going on this week that is pretty good. There are lots of good speakers and I guess the sponsors pay for it because it's free. Here's the link  http://recyber.cyberconventions.com/

Thats why I joined Real Estate CyberSpace Society.  The concept of an online convention is really neat!

This is my third year of attending, and I find the information highly valuable and fascinating. The first year I used my cassette tape recorder and recorded every session. One of my favorite speakers is not on this years line up - Terry Watson. This year I can download the interesting sessions for reviewing by using Real Player's "Download This File" button. It is a really super event for me, as I can't afford to attend the NAR and OAR conventions.
