I Love a Project....This One Still "In Progress"....see results Friday!

Home Stager with Sensational Home Staging~~Danville, CA

One of the most rewarding aspects of home staging for me is when I have the opportunity to work with an agent/seller on a "PROJECT" to update the home!  I can see...in my mind's eye....the potential even when others are skeptics!  The reward comes when they see "IT" too!.

This is a home that was dark, dated and frankly a bit dumpy!  Once the seller moved....the agent and I took over.  Yesterday we did a walk thru and here's the update....

  • Painted all Interior walls, ceiling and trim....including ceiling in Family Room!
  • Painted Kitchen cabinets
  • Painted Fireplace
  • Installed Baseboards
To Do's:
  • Carpet  -  Monday
  • Vinyl  -  Tuesday
  • Cabinet Pulls in Kitchen
  • New Light Fixtures in Dining Room, Kitchen and Baths  -  Monday
  • Deep Cleaning  -  Wednesday
Staging.....Thursday.....look for the AFTER pictures on Friday!!

What a transformation.  What color is that on the kitchen cabinets?  They look awesome.  From dark & dingy to bright & beautiful.  Can't wait for the "after, after" pictures.

Cleaner, updated and SO-O much better already Kathy.  Just like with wood, too many people don't want to paint brick, but I'm a BIG fan and yours is a great example.  Looking forward to the final!

Well done Kathy, that ceiling looks so good now, it really opens up the room and the paint on the fireplace bought this property into this decade :)

I can't wait to see the pictures on Friday.  This must be a very rewarding job!  I've often recommended painting brick and yet no one has been brave enough to do it yet.  It really looks beautiful!  Does it require a special paint?

I too love a painted fireplace...looks so much more updated, cleaner and somehow more sophisticated too! Looking forward to posting the "After" pictures....since I can see them in my imagination and hoping it looks just like what I pictured.

Also....love working with this agent!  He is fun, flexible and has a great sense of style!!  Will be including his info on the post!!!!!

Thanks for all your positive comments!!!
