Human Nature is good

By
Real Estate Agent with Century21 Unlimited

I have seen a lot of amazing people throughout my life.  The woman who gave all she had to the poor box.  Volunteers for those who are in need financially.  I have seen a man be faithful to his wife for many years.  I have met those who are incredibly warm and loving in everyway. I have felt a gentle touch when I was sad and shared in ordinary meals where extraordinary commitment and grace flowed throughout.

Since I have been involved in Real Estate, I have seen many things.  I have seen agents make incredible sacrifices to help people attain their dream homes.   I have witnessed Brokers give valuable insight into the process.  I have experienced a bond between realtors despite their competition with each other.

We are challenged as realtors to develop our character.  It is a privilege to help people obtain their dreams.  Seeing the good in people despite the crisis they may be going through encourages everyone involved.   It is important to learn and have an attitude of continued growth in our profession by continuing education in our field and continuing education for our person.

What are some ways to get personal education?

Take a different perspective by thinking about what someone else needs.  Think about your own goodness.  Volunteer for something.  Get involved in your community.  Go for a walk.  Find the people who have been good to you and figure out what they are doing.

I would love to be your RealtorĀ® in Akron Ohio!

Greetings Scott, your post touched a nerve with me as I have my entire adult life turned to resourses greater than myself to enhance my character and my interaction with others. I will definitely check your links that you so graciously provided to us all. I have always had "tapes" (that's how old I am!) in my car and listened closely to what they had to say, such as the Ziglars, the Conants, etc. It never did me any harm to listen to anyone. You grow or you don't. Who does not want to grow? By the very action of some of the good people on AR, the evidence and jury are in; we all do!  Regards and thank you, DavidC
