This is fun. This voice will repeat what you WRITE, not what you say!

I wrote a blog about a spooky voice saying to me, "Have a nice dinner.  I will call you tomorrow."  It was from a landline text.  The voice is robotic and mysterious sounding because you don't know who it is from.

A blogging buddy sent me this fantastic web link and you need to visit it just as I did. Click here.  You'll meet Julie who will say whatever you type in.  She'll say it in different languages and different speeds.  (I had to do slow for Southern speak, of course.)  If you get tired of Julie you can choose other characters and they will say what you type in.  There's a pretty handsome guy if you choose a boy's name.

The eyes follow the cursor and my buddy says you can play with the cursor and make the eyes cross.  I can see parents using this to teach their kids a language.....

Try it...........and thanks Bob Collins........

I made a bunch of people call my cats by name, over and over. It was pretty amusing. Pia ran up to the screen, especially when I typed her name as Piiiiaaaahhh.

Elizabeth, you are a character!  But what a good idea to see if the cats can speak another language.  I need to tell Val to try it with her cats.

Hi Barbara ~ Ha ha ha!! That is too much fun.  And I love Elizabeth's idea of calling her cat over and over. I had made it say things to my cat but that's a much better idea. Love it!

Liz, I told it to tell my husband, "I love you Rodger," when I made him come in to see it.  He thought it was funny too.  I think small children would really enjoy it.

Hi Barbara - This is a fun site.  Thanks for sharing.  I tried out all the different voices and found one that sounds a lot like me (at least what I think I sound like).  I too played with having it call my cats.  They didn't know what to think of it.  HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

One day, as Jesse James and his gang were riding through Missouri, they saw a farmhouse and stopped to ask for something to eat. A widow lived there with three small children. She didn't have much in the house, but shared with them what she had.
It was while they were eating lunch that Jesse James noticed that something was bothering this generous widow. He questioned her about it, and she broke down and told him her story. The mortgage was due on the house that very day because her husband had died, she did not have the money to pay it. Her landlord was not a generous man, and was sure to put her children and herself out on the street.
"How much money do you need to pay the mortgage?" Jesse asked the widow.
"Fifteen hundred dollars," the widow sobbed.
Jesse James took out his money bag, counted out $1,500 and presented it to the widow.
"I can't take this," she protested, but Jesse James insisted she use the money to pay off the mortgage.
"Just make sure you get a receipt," he warned her, and she promised that she would. Then he got a description of the man and left with his gang.
Jesse James and his gang waited in the woods near the house until the man had collected his money from the widow. Then they rode out onto the road and stole their money back from the landlord.
