It's the Year of the Tiger, in the Asian horoscope, and Golden Island Restaurant, in Upper Ganges Centre, is holding their annual Chinese New Year dinner. The actual New Year day is February 14th, this year. By reservation only, the Golden Island special New Year's menu, is available on Feb. 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. Enjoy! This weekend is the 14th Annual Seedy Saturday, presented by Island Natural Growers. Friday, the 12th, there are two films, starting at 7 p.m., admission by donation. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., you will want to take in all of the presentations. At the Farmers Institute on Rainbow Road. It's $20 for workshops and $10 for lunch. Don't miss this event!
