I love the composition of the picture.  The snow in the back and the new seedlings coming up.

I have never been so happy to see dead grass in my life!  At least you've got some things trying to grow in preparation for Spring.

Ellie, if those are crocuses, they may be a little shocked, but they are hardy and should survive. They do need to stay dormant for a bit.

Nice to see they survived.  I lost several very nice bushes in this past snow.  I just couldn't do any more shoveling.  Shoveling just ain't as easy as it was 30 years ago.

Awww,  they are so cute.  It's nice to seem them peeking out next to the snow.

Great title for this 'then and now' photo. A few weeks ago I wouldn't have expected to see this so soon.

Ah . . . that sign of hope after a storm. After our rain, I have little weeds popping up everywhere - not quite the same joy! :)

I always like the idea of bulbs buried in the ground waiting out the winter and no matter what will appear for the spring.

So they did. Maybe the snow kept them insultated and ready to spring forth. :)
