Confirmed detached sales numbers also fell on the Westside this week with just 26 confirmed detached sales (compared to 44 confirmed sales in the previous period); this could be linked to the nature of the product being supplied as well as demand pockets in specific neighbourhoods, though Dunbar, which has been relatively strong since Q1 2010 posted only a single sale this past week. The majority of Westside neighbourhoods posted similar sales results with Point Grey, South Granville, Kerrisdale, and S.W. Westside Vancouver Attached Market Update March 30 - April 6
Confirmed attached sales activity took a bit of a dip this past week on the Westside with only 36 attached sales, which accounted for roughly 46% of Vancouver West attached sales activity (down from 63 attached sales in the previous period); Kitsilano and Fairview saw the greatest discrepency in sales to listing activity with just 9 attached sales in each neighbourhood. Overall the sales to listing ratio in the Westside attached market remained tilted towards the buyer side with 36 confirmed attached sales to 80 new attached listings. The good news, however; is that the Westside continued to account for a slightly higher percentage of overall Vancouver West sales at 43% then of attached new listings at 41%.Please click HERE for the full article.
