Business Cards Printed at Home
Recently I met up with a young builder who wanted to leave me his business cards to give to potential clients. I immediately noticed they were poor quality home printed cards. I mentioned to him he may want to wait until he got better cards for me to give out and he was offended. I know when just starting out money is tight but if you can find enough money to spend $300 on an air nailer, then $30 for the card that gives potential clients a first impression of you and your work should be a great investment. How many times do you think a business professional was never called because of his card? I am not in any way saying it takes a great card to be a great professional, I am saying whether it is right or wrong you will be judged by someone looking at your card and if two cards are side by side the professional with the better card will win 9 out of 10 times. Your business card is a lot like your profile pic for real estate agents. You really need to spend the money and have the pro's do it for you. Image is everything when shopping for a professional and the first impression sets the stage for the first contact and if there will be one. Good luck in all you do.
