Friday, August 3, 2007 - What a great night to be in downtown Flagstaff!  This is the night for First Friday Art Walk. Art galleries throughout historic downtown will be open for browsing and many will serve appetizers/snacks to entice the strollers inside. The Artist's Gallery at 17 N. San Francisco has some pictures on display of one of the recent First Friday Art Walks as seen inside their establishment.

Heritage Square will be hopping on Friday as well. The "hoopla" there begins at 6 p.m., including live music and various displays the movie of the night begins at dusk. This week it is a dragon-slayer movie: Eragon (2006)Heritage Square

If you want to get a little head start on the weekend downtown, you can visit Heritage Square for live music on Thursday night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. when the Sir Harrison & The Blues Kings will be playing in the open air. Sir Harrison is a local band with a great sound.

Of course, don't forget the Arizona Cardinals training camp - click here for the schedule of Arizona Cardinals' practices.

Ann, If I wasn't babysitting this weekend I would love to be there. It sounds like so much fun. We have been having quite a conversation in this house about the Arizona Cardinals moving back to you. We miss them.

Yvonne - It's generally a lot cooler here than in your area -- I imagine the big guys appreciate that as they are working out every day.
