Drilon

Hello,

I am interested in renting a studio, or one bedroom apartment in Waterbury. I liked the studio on the pictures, but I wanted to know the location of this studio. I would appreciate if you could give me any offer close to the Brass Mill Center. I would also like to know the conditions for renting the apartments and also the lease term.

Hi Drilon,

Thanks for contacting me about the studio apartment in Waterbury. Unfortunately it's been rented but if you provide me with your email address, I can send you additional listings around the Brass Mill.

As for requirements to rent: most landlords require a credit check which we can run for you (there is a fee). Usually you will need 1st month's rent and 1 month security although a landlord can legallly ask for 2 months security if you are younger than 55. It is illegal to ask for last month's rent up front and your security deposit can not be used as your last month's rent. In addition, landlords must pay 1.5% interest on your security deposit yearly and the deposit is supposed to be kept in a seperate escrow account.

You can email me at ruthzeiss@prudentialct.com. Thanks again for your interest. I look forward to helping you find a suitable rental.
