Steve - I do love apple trees and so does orange trees but we can not grow orange trees here.  It is much too cold for oranges.

Lisa - It gets too top heavy in September and when the apples fall to the ground, they get too messy sometimes.  But we love the apple tree nonetheless.

Lee & Carol - I only had two.  A Golden Delicious and a Winesap that I planted at the side yard.  They get too big.  They are encroaching on my neighbor's property.  Luckily I have a nice neighbor and they don't mind.
