If you are in Orange County consider coming to the gathering at Baby Beach in Dana Point Harbor, to honor the Baby Whale Lily and to thank those who attempted to help her. Lily the whale was entangled in fishing nets, ropes and other ocean debris which injured her and kept her from migrating north with her Gray Whale family. She was undernourished and weak .

This gathering will bring awareness to 'Gray Whale Migration" and remind people to keep our beaches clean, and "Clean the Ocean" of nets and other trash that injure sea mammals.

It was so sad to hear about the baby whale Michael, I attended Laguna's save the whales gathering last weekend and it was very informative and nice to be around likeminded people. Hopefully I will be able to attend this event and see what I can learn!

Dale, Thanks for your kind words. It's a very good cause, and if it can bring more awareness to clean up our oceans and beaches....then it will be a successful event.

Andy & Christine,  Thank you for your message. We all have to pitch in and help.  Hopefully, this event will increase peoples' awareness of how trash and pollution is destroying sea life.
