Illogical In Illogical Out!

By

In addition to people doing business with people they Know, Like, and Trust. They also seek information and advice from people they know, like, and trust. This is done many times even though the sought after information and advice is foreign to that person.

Also, people are alway moved emotionally although their action may be totally illogical.

Imagine if the brightness (wattage) and type was stamped on our heads like light bulbs. That surely would make it a lot simpler to determine who could shed light, and how much on a given subject. Very often people will seek advice from people that are intelligent and versed in a particular field or subject, on a totally unrelated topic and cherish the response.

The reason for this is they seek information based on emotional attachement rather than a logical decision.

Ain't it the truth?!   Thanks, Coach K. C., for an interesting post.  I like the forehead wattage idea...would make it all go a bit smoother, I suspect.  I think I'd even look in the mirror a time or two, to keep myself in check on certain topics!

Thanks for the response, Leanna. I got that visual and just had to put out the analogical comparison. Too often I see people seeking advice from well-meaning but, incorrect sources.

Agreed.

People make most decisions on emotion. They justify the decision with logic.

Ahhhh

But there is more to the know like and trust than just emotion.

Knowing liking and trusting all involve complex interactions and reactions that tend to lead you to people who are likeable, admirable, trustworthy...
