BPO companies that turn into REO listings

Which BPO companies are just BPO mills and which ones actually lead to REO listings?  As I've reviewed several blogs talking about both, let me share a few that I've found lead to REO listings.

I would love other Active Rainers to add their own experience as to which companies actually lead to REO listings!

Wow.  Amazing that this post is stillgetting comments in 2010.  I just started tinkering with BPOs, so this is all great info, and it is interesting to see how the opinions have either evolved, or stayed the same.

One company NOT to use is brokerpriceopinion.com.   They do not pay! I do dozens of BPO's week, and this company contacted me, I did 7 orders for them, and now I am fighting to get paid. Their accounting dept says they try to pay in 90 days, but they are now 4 months on these! Hopefully this will save someone out there a headache.

They call me from time to time also, but I ignore them. Another company out there to avoid is Evaluation Solutions (run do not walk away from them).

IAS for $40 interior  or exterior, they suck your brains out with their QC. It is okay if you get listings out of it, but after doing hundreds of BPO's and getting nothing, I quit as they are tying my time up with countless of QC's my GOD. Not worth it. I have a coworker who got an REO without even doing a single BPO because he was listed in one of the website.

Great Help.. I agree Evaluation Solutions is terrible! I do several a week for them and have to fight to get paid.  The form is great but the pay is so difficult.  I usually threaten them every couple of months and get a check within a couple weeks after that!!

I have done 1000's of bpo's for most of the major bpo mills and very few have ever turned into reo's.

Do any of you have any experience doing bpos for Equity Pointe?  Do they pay? Do they pay on time? Any information would be much appreciated.

This is great info. So thanksful to find a network of people that are willing to help the rest. Hope to be a contributor soon. Tired of the dry spells in between transaction or the challenges sometimes.

I'm very curious that there is no recent posts here.

Do agents do not do bpo any more?

What is your recent experience?

Heard of several agents dropping BPO all together, some told me it is not worth doing anymore.

We are a team of people having experience in accepting new BPO orders for mainly RRReview and Altisource - Ocwen. Our success ratio is high in accepting new orders. We can provide you free test service for a day or two if you are interested and accept some orders for you. It would cost about $4 per accepted order. You would pay for accepted orders only, If order is canceled later you don't need to pay for it. Let me know if you are interested. Thank you.

How can you find out what BPO companies work in your area? I was contacted last week by Inside Valuation. Does anyone work with them? How do the pay?

Zachary, I have worked with them a few times in the past, but they always want me to go further out than my area and only want to pay $35 - $45 for a report. In my case, I am in a very rural area and comps are not always the easiest to find. Its like comparing Apples to PINEAPPLES in my area and they just don't want to pay you for the extra time and travel it takes to complete a report. AND pay is somewhat slow from them.

My best BPO compaines are Clear Capital (www.clearcapital.com) & Core Logic (www.corelogic.com). Emortgagelogic www.emortgagelogic.com) is third favorite to work with.
