Fundamentals Of Home Inspection -- Bellingham Technical College

By
Home Inspector with King of the House Home Inspection, Inc

Since home inspector licensing began in this state last year, many individuals who wish to enter the field of home inspection are interested in taking the fundamentals of home inspection course that is offered at Bellingham Technical College.

We have been running the class every couple months with the advent of licensing.

The course is four weeks long, with one week dedicated to field training. The next state approved fundamentals class will begin on July 12, a Monday. For additional information, call 360-752-8796.

Thanks for stopping by,

Steven L. Smith

Steven - could you please explain a little more? What do you mean, "since home inspector licensing began in this state last year..." ?  So now your state REQUIRES home inspections on a home being sold?  If so that is so interesting.... (I don't think I am comprehending this very well,,,needs more coffee.) In Texas a buyer is not required to have a home inspection (a mortgage company may require it) but is strongly recommended.

Sussie,

There is not a law that houses have to be inspected but, if they are, then it has to be done by a home inspector who is licensed.

Steve; I wanted to add that the materials supplied in the class are invaluable. I use the manuals almost daily, just to be sure things are right.

Having access to the instructors after the class has been a real value to me also. Your help when I have asked your opinion on inspection items has been appreciated:) Thank You.

If you are interested in Home Inspection this is the training and instructors you want!
