The popular “Movies in the Park” series is set to begin on Friday nights starting June 18 at Southside Park in Newton. The annual series, sponsored by the Newton Festival & Events Committee, runs for five consecutive Friday nights through July 16.
The FREE viewings will be held at Southside Park beginning at dusk (approximately 9:00 p.m.) each Friday night from June 18 to July 16. Movies will be shown on a large 16’ x 24’ screen with good sound. Residents should bring a lawn chair or a blanket for seating. Concessions will be available, along with FREE popcorn. No pets will be allowed.
All movies are believed to be “kid-friendly” (all rated PG), and should provide a fun evening in the park.
