Motivational Power Quote

Play The Hand Your Where Dealt

"Life is like a game of cards.

The hand that is dealt is determined;

the way you play it is free will."

Jawabarial Nehru, India's, First Prime Minister

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Play the hand your where dealt

When the cards of life are on the table we have to play the hand we where dealt. How we play those cards is a personal choice.

We may not like the cards we're holding but they are the only cards that we have.  We have to take the cards we have and maximize the way we use our cards.

The way we play them will determine the outcome.

Our cards are the station in life that we were born into and our natural talents. We have to take what we where born with and supplement them, expand them, grow them and maximize everything at our disposal to achieve our destiny.

Well said. Sometimes it takes a while for us to realize we can't trade them in and get some new cards. Even with a lousy hand you can pull off a win with the right strategy! Thanks.

So true. When we are in a bad mood we never like the cards. When we are in an OK mood we sometimes do not know what to do with the cards we are dealt. When we are in a great mood, we use the cards we were dealt in a positive way. Funny, how the same cards can be viewed in different ways depending on our attitude. Thanks!

Lou,

Some very good advice.  I have heard this said Play The Hand Your Where Dealt, or you can stick your head in the sand.

Lou, It is so true that it is up to us to choose what to do with the hand of cards that we were dealt. We can choose to take them and run with them or some choose to do nothing constructive with them. It's a shame.

Hi Lou, We have to play the hand we were dealt.  The only other option is to fold - and that's not really an option.  Great quote today!  Thanks Lou.
