By
Real Estate Agent with Realtor / Owner - RE/MAX Access

Count your points at the end of the test to determine your home buying intelligence level.

     1) What is the most valuable consideration when buying a home?

     A) 100% whatever my Realtor says.

     2 points

     B) What my mother thinks is best for me.

     4 points

     C) Do I have time to ask Dr. Phil? No? Ok, then it is

    what my psychic predicts.

     6 points

     D) I think the answer may be location!

2) What is the single most important characteristic for a home?

     A) The designer furniture and the Ralph Lauren Paint on the walls of course.

    6 points

    D) Umm... I think the answer is probably Location.

   D) The answer is LOCATION !!!!

Count up your score to determine your Home Buying Intelligence Level

A) 6 points

Your intelligence level is good but be careful when you are formulating your opinion about a home. Looks and unsupported advice can be deceiving so when determining an opinion make sure you are not misguided. Go back to basics.

B) 12 points

Your intelligence is fair but there is a lot of room for growth if you could just cut that cord, make some fur-less friends, and avoid crystal balls!

C) 18 points

Intelligence level is low. Possibly due to too much spray-on tan or hair gel "fur shur"! Dude, you may want to consider moving back to the Valley. "Like" that would be "tubular"!

D) 0 points

You are the cream of the crop, exhibiting an innate intelligence and powerful observation skills. You are officially ready to buy a fantastic home!

Thanks for this great post! You've made my day. Prior to my real estate days, I bought homes for very goofy reasons, and at least once, wished I hadn't.
