What can we learn from the redneck slip and slide?

  1. Lather up - don't be caught unprepared: anticipate what is going to happen or what is going to be asked and be prepared with a response.
  2. Let someone else pull the rope - accept help: if you can't get where you want to go on your own, look to those who can help you get there.
  3. Run - when you can see disaster coming, avoid it whenever possible
  4. When they stop pulling on the rope, propel yourself - even if you are counting on someone else to get you where you are going, be ready to make it happen on your own.

No children were harmed in the making of this video (not even mine).

Julia!  Great comparison of this video to real estate!  (Or to life in general!)  Thanks for sharing.

Oh the potential is there, you just need to figure out how to make it go even faster! I have some ideas, I may have to try next summer on one of our warmer days. (I think we are done with hot days for this year)

@Cara, this is the only place anywhere around here that is flat!

@Todd, there was talk of pulling the rope with a truck. I vetoed that idea pretty quickly.
