Hiking BootsWorlds Best Hiking Boots Company is in the New Hampshire White Mountains, If you care about your feet, then you'll only want the best Hiking or Ski Boots made in the world. Peter Limmers and Sons customers boast about the boots they make! We need to go back into time. Peter Limmer Sr. started making traditional Tyrolean Walking shoes as well as Patented ski boots, but even before that. We need to go to the foothills of the Bavarian Alps.

Peter Limmer Sr's dad made footwear in a small shop in the Town of Peterskirchen Germany. Footwear making has been this family's life for many many moons. Peter Limmer Sr became a Master Shoe Maker back in August of 1921. He got his Master Shoe Makers certificate from the Shoemaker's Guild. Peter Limmer Sr. moved to the U.S. in 1925 and set up his first shop in Jamaca Plain, which is in the Boston, MA. area. He taught his Peter Jr. and Francis the trade of boot making there.

Worlds Best Hiking Boots Company is in the New Hampshire White Mountains,Then in the year of 1950, the Limmer family moved to the New Hampshire White Mountains, the reason Peter Limmer Sr, moved his family to that area of New Hampshire, had to do with it reminded him of his home in Bavaria. The Limmer family made leather ski boots, and then when the plastic ski boots came out and took over the ski boot business, the Limmer family stop making ski boots.

Peter Limmers and Sons started making their hiking boots in a large green barn in the shadow of the New Hampshire White Mountains. They still build their famous custom hiking boots, just like the way they did when they first opened their doors back in 1950. The Limmer hiking boots are only made using handcrafted fine-grain leather, with single-scam uppers.

Worlds Best Hiking Boots Company is in the New Hampshire White Mountains,You can buy either their stock boots or have them make you a pair of custom hiking boots. They do have a backlog, which means you will have to wait a good 18 months for your custom boots. There is a mighty good reason as to why it takes that long, they have hikers come to them to have a pair of their custom boots made, from as far away as Tanzania.

When you care about your feet then you will only want to do your hiking wearing Peter Limmers and Sons hiking boots.
