Next week I am taking a road trip with a friend of mine who has never experienced Northeast Georgia. Of course I wanted to make a good impression of the area so I researched what is happening and this is what I have come up with. I googled what to do in Northeast Georgia, this is it:

This event is a great way to show off your special ride! 2010 is the 4th April-thru-October season that Blairsville Cruisers organize events in Downtown Blairsville. Crowds of car, truck, and motorcycle enthusiasts are drawn to see and/or display classic and antique vehicles. Don't be surprise to find local musicians jamming on the Square. Historical Rock Hike - 10/2/10 at 10 am - 1 pm

Dahlonega Rock & Mineral Show 2010 - 10/16 - 10/17/10 at 10 am - 5 pm
The McDonald House belonged to a Confederate Captain who fought with the Blue Ridge Rifles from Dahlonega. He was wounded near the end of the war and was not at his units surrender at Appomatox.
