Marc - Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving -- for some is also A Time To Reflect

A time to think about all the things we are thankful for not just the bounty of the harvest

A time to remember those less fortunate and the food banks that they rely on.

And I forgot... how about those Leafs?   Something that Toronto Maple Leafs fans should be thankful so far.  They sure got to a great start this season (#1 in the Eastern Conference) with two wins including their opener against the Habs.  It looks like their new goaltender (who was born in Montreal) is already paying dividends.  You probably did not know but in his younger years, he played for the Halifax Mooseheads (how's that for a fun fact on this Monday?)  :)

Hi Brian - I was inspired by a couple of Kathy's posts where she showed photos of wild turkeys at her residence.

I found this wonderful Canadian wild turkey a couple of hours north of Toronto earlier this weekend.  The turkey and a few of its friends came by to visit.  I'll post another photograph or two later.

Hi Kathy - It is important that we also remember and assist those less fortunate not just at holiday time such as Thanskgiving and Christmas but throughout the year.

Hi Gerry - I believe I have some photographs of American wild turkeys that I took this summer at a very appropriate place.

Very clever way of inserting Moose Monday into a Thanksgiving post, eh? :)
