Cedar City Scene...The Grind Coffeehouse and Cafe.....

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Legacy

The Grind, located on Main Street in historic downtown Cedar City is the cool place to go and have a cup of coffee, or other soft drink and relax.  We have a Starbucks, but The Grind is the hip place to go.  They offer free Wi-Fi, and they also feature live music.  Located just North of Speenos Italian Restaurant, it is centrally located, and as with Speenos, if there is no street parking, there is parking in the rear.  Come on in and check it out!

Karen, that is true, it like real estate is about location, although the Starbucks is near the Walmart.  The live music is always a bonus!

Chris, I like the small holes in the wall, much more to offer!

What a colorful place you live and work! Nice photo. Cedar City looks like a very nice city to live. What type of community is this place? Family oriented? Vacationers and Tourists? Transient folks? Retirees?

Patricia, thanks for stopping by.  It is a very nice area, very beautfiul.  Our community is a little of all of the above.  We have a University, Southern Utah University, so we have a nice mix.  We are within easy driving distance of 4 National Parks(Zion, Bryce Canyon, Escalante Grand Staircase, and Capitol Reef), a National Monument(Cedar Breaks), Lake Powell and hiking and camping.  We have a great family atmosphere with low crime rates, and a growing retirement community.  It is a good mix, we also host many festivals, the most famous is the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

Tony & Darcy, that is so funny I love smaller coffee shops as well. I find that Starbucks has been sliping in quality, but not as much in price.....I just did a post yesterday about a coffee bar that is out of this world, they are now in three cities, NYC, Chicago & Los Angeles/Venice CA

Endre, I really think that the smaller shops have better service, and usually a better product.

I lose out on all the happenings at the local coffee shops because I don’t drink coffee. L

Russel, I don't drink coffee either, I know that one of the huge draws to the grind is they bring in local singers for live shows.
