Craig,

Great article on FSBO's.  I'm sure many FSBO's jump on board when you explain a few facts to them and they are certainly in good hands.

Hi Craig~  The problem is, we make it look so darned easy to sell a home!  It is getting more and more complicated to bring a home through to the actual closing!  We end up saving them time, aggravation and money in the long run.

Craig, in a good market, like there was 4-5 years ago, many do it yourself sites had great success luring the FSBO. Their ads were all over the place. In our current market, their ads have just about disappeared and many do it yourselfers have little support. Like being lost in the middle of a vast forest at night and not knowing how to get out, or if they'll even get out. That's why 90% of FSBO's list with a professional within 30 days, and we all know who's the King in Cary/Apex/Raleigh NC.

Wanda - What hump? That line kills me every time!

Jane - No not that way. THIS way!

Roger - Thank you my friend. And welcome back!

Ellie - And I'd be calling you for all my Real Estate needs in Howard County, Maryland. For those of you who don't know what Ellie is referring to about "me hanging over her roof", as you can see from the example below, I'm not a fan of the traditional sold signs........

Beautiful Town Home in Durham, NC. SOLD! - by Craig Rutman, Your Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex Area Realtor

Christine - That's what I'm saying! Thank you Christine!

Debbie - Once they realize the pitfalls they can face, and the difference in the amount of money they think they're saving, compared to what they actually save, the choice is easy.

Vickie - I hear you Vickie! It's the curse of being good at what you do!

Sharon - This market is NO place for anyone who doesn't do this full time. Oh, you know who I'm calling for all my Jax, FL Real Estate needs!

Nick - Just remember Nick, it's ALWAYS usr rror!

Ed - I couldn't have said it better myself. The last stat you quote just goes to show that it's important to start on the right foot immediately by hiring a Realtor. Those 30 days of carrying costs are the difference in what they think they might have saved by going it alone.
