(not so) Wordless Wednesday...

Thank gawd, the elections have come and gone and political stumping will cease for at least another year or so. Well it looks as if the American people have spoken and y'all will be seeing new faces on the Hill. And that is as political as I will get...

New Speaker of the House...

Y'all have a great rest of the week...

Good morning Michael, I am soooo glad the mudslinging is over.  Hopefully the change is what it is going to take to start to turn the county around.

The sound of silence...........let's all get back to the good old Clydesdale commercials instead of political ads.  Do they ever have to say a word to get their point across?

Michael, Let's just hope "The more things change, the more things stay the same."  will not be true.

I'm most thankful for a break from all the dirty campaigning.  Wonder how many days we'll get before they gear up for the next election?

Good morning Michael,

I'm also interested in the first thing you are going to do in office Michael? The press definitely did not cover your victory..maybe because they were not in your corner! Nice threads!!

Excuse me, excuse me...  One question...  In regards to all the microphones, is that a potential fire hazard?  Can you get me a report, stat!

GLAD they are over. The insanity of it all. By the way. I tried scanning your QR codes, either something is amiss with my scanner or your phone QR code isn't working.

It matters to us as much as it matters to you.

I voted for you Michael, and you know no matter the results each side will take credit for good things that happen in the future and assign blame to the other side for the bad.  It is a wonderful system.

Thank God it is over!  Well at least for a couple of years.  I spent all day yesterday down in Houston as a poll watcher.  Today I have been totally wiped out!  It is amazing how tiring it gets just sitting there watching but I'm glad I did it. Houston was the first city to put forth "True the Vote". We had a local Army of watchers go forth; something like 1000 watchers.

I personally expect the tax rates to stay the same as they are now, which will make the stock market and bond market stronger. In turn, the people who have those assets will spend money in other areas including homes. I can tell you that the stock market has a big impact on the sales of homes.

If only we could have kicked out Harry
