How are you doing today!

How important is a first impression?  I firmly believe that you have to be as honest as possible to your clients and potential clients.  Because of this belief I had to come up with a response for people even if I was having a bad day.  I believe it is Tom Hopkins that responds "Unbelievable" to the question "how are you doing?"  People assume that you are having a good day. 

I have started answering "Living The Dream".  No matter how bad my day people gravitate to the positive side of the phrase.  Even if that day was more of a nightmare.  It truely is amazing what having a positive mental attitude will do to attract clients.  So before you grumble the next fine, ok, just alright think of the impression you are leaving behind.
