The limits of the area where residents can take part in this event are as far as: Morris Bridge Road to the west, Kossik Road & Otis Allen Road to the north, Forest Lakes Estates Mobile Home Park to the east on County Road 54, and Chancey Road to the south. Most residents of Zephyrhills will be able to identify those boundaries easily. Do note that these limits include areas that are OUTSIDE of the city limits of Zephyrhills. So some county residents can also take part in the fun. If you live outside the event zone, at least you can drive around to see the beautiful decorations.
Entries must be submitted on the official form by Noon, Wednesday, December 8th. You can download the form you will need to complete by clicking on the following link: Download 2010 Holiday Lighting Contest App You can drop it off in person, mail it to the Chamber offices, or fax it in (but call to confirm that you can indeed fax it).
Judging will take place from December 11-15 between 6 PM and 9 PM.
Winners will be recognized at the Chamber of Commerce office at 38550 5th Avenue on December 20, 2010 at 9:00 AM. If you were a winner during the past two years, you are only eligible for an honorable mention so that others have an opportunity to win.
Do make sure that when you fill in the form, you write clear directions to your location so that the judges can find it easily. They are not Santa Claus with reindeer to help. So make it easy for them.
If you have any questions, download the form I mentioned above since it has a lot of information on it. You can also call the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce at 813-782-1913. Their fax number is: 813-783-6060
