Motivational Power Quote

Enthusiasm a Passion For Success

"Enthusiasm is a good engine,

but it needs intelligence for a driver."

Author unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Enthusiasm a passion for success

Our enthusiasm is the gusto that drives us. It will drive us to extend ourselves to reach for bigger goals and greater success.

It the fire in the pit of our stomach, it gets us up early in the morning and keeps us moving forward when other people have stopped.

Enthusiasm is the passion for continued incremental improvement. To where we become a little better today, and surpass that level tomorrow, it's the striving for excellence in our chosen profession.

The thin slice of success is in our enthusiasm and in time that thin slice of success will grow into a vast span of difference to where people who want to compete with us will have to try to catch up to us.

Enthusiasm will get us started and keep us emotionally on the success track. To maximize the benefits of our enthusiasm we have to use it intelligently.

Use your enthusiasm to keep your focused on the motivation to achieve your objective and goals and to keep your passion for success burning bright.

Enthusiasm a passion for success - for making your goals and dreams come true.

I agree with everything you said this morning. But the word  intelligence is over rated. Most of think the only way a person can have intelligence  is if you were lucky enough to be born with it. Well I am here to tell you that is not really true. You can become intelligence by seeking knowledge and truth.By believing you can learn what other seem to just know if you will just work hard at it.

Lou,

This quote is right on target. Enthusiastic people have to have the intelligence to know what to be enthusiastic about.

Enthusiasm is such a wonderful thing- but it waxes and wanes for me - takes energy. And as you say intelligence. - to gather fact, decipher opinion and feeling, and balance what makes us human

Great thought. This reminds me of Howard Dean when he was running for prez...he made this really enthusiastic blurb with a high pitched shrill..enthusiasm unbridled!

Lou, I like what you said, and Richard definitely hit the nail on the head. Without intelligence, enthusiasm is quite chaotic and undirected.
