Time Management

By
Education & Training with REcampus Fully Accredited Florida ONLINE & Classroom Training in Destin, Pensacola Florida

All successful time management begins with planning. Use a weekly calendar and make a daily "To Do" list. Write down all of the things you want to accomplish today, including personal activities such as phone calls and shopping.  Use it to set daily priorities--what must be done today? What can wait? Write a new list each morning.  Time Management is more than just managing our time; it is managing ourselves.  It's having discipline, setting priorities and taking charge of your situation and time utilization. It means changing those habits or activities that cause us to waste time.  P. Stone, RRES

Wayne, it is too easy to get distracted and lose site of what we set out to accomplish.  We have to focus, focus, focus..... and good time management and self discipline certainly help us to focus.

I do this .... most days. I do find that the days that are more challenging are when i dont actually time block these things. otherwise its just a list. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the reminder. I try to keep it all in my head sometimes, and I am going to make my week's list tonight.

"Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things." Peter Drucker

I find the most satisfaction from doing "the worst things first"; doing the things I don't want to do first! Then it's all down hill from there.

and I've heard from wise elders, "DON'T DO TODAY WHAT YOU CAN PUT OFF UNTIL TOMORROW"...

Funny, That is just what my old business coach said: "You don't manage time. You manage your activity." Makes sense to me.

Nice article, very interesting and useful thanks for sharing. Recently I found an app called rostering software from Replicon, it offers many interesting features like schedule list, organized note, import PDF or docs and it is integrated with quickbooks.
