Blogging To The Very Top...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Daytona Condo Realty, 386-405-4408

A few weeks ago I wrote two congratulatory blog posts for AR two new millionaires Russel Ray (Wow, Olympus is Getting Crowded…) and Patricia Kennedy  (AR Is Getting Richer), and then after that a blog about Katerina Gasset (Google Juice Master, Wake Up!) on her reaching 900,000 points. I received quite a number of “I would love to have so many points” comments.

Well, actually there is no reason to envy. There is nothing easier than getting to the Olympus. AR is that rare place where if you want to have a lot of points, you can, and how many points you want is up to you.

Yes, we know that you can become who you want to become in America. But we also learned to know that we all have limitations, and that we may never become a NFL star no matter how strongly we want it, or a movie star like Julia Roberts, or a composer like George Gershwin… Because besides wanting, Persistencebesides persistence you need something from God…you need talent, and lots and lots of it to make it in the sport, or entertainment…

Not the case on AR.

Whether you have talent and write stellar posts, or you have a good hiney and write just decent posts, one post is 225 points, and you can post 10 a week and make 2,250 AR points a week, and you can make 10 comments a day at 25 points each, so you can make 250 points in comments a day, and receive 1,750 AR points for that a week. Totalling 4,000 AR points a week.

You are also getting points when other members leave comments on your posts, so if you religiously follow the routine and write the allowable maximum of blogs and allowable maximum of comments a week, you can absolutely perfectly know when you will hit the next milestone, and when you will hit cool 1,000,000 points.

And because you get points for comments made on your posts by others, and when you participate in challenges, which bring you points as well, you will actually be there even earlier. So, if you want to be there with Todd Clark, or Lenn Harley, or Russel Ray, or Patricia Kennedy, you can. It  is in your hands…and in your hiney, or both…

The trick here is that when everyone can, still only few do. And these few have something that so many of us don’t. It is difficult to say what exactly, but maybe it is a quality of their brain, quality of their hiney? I do not know exactly, but it sure has something to do with quality.

How come? If it is about numbers, what has quality to do with it? True, nothing… But if you read the leaders with the most number of points, you would notice that strangely enough, there is quality, and not only the numbers.

Can you make it there to Olympus? You sure can.

Will you be there? And when?

The answer is in your hands…or hiney… or both

Picture of Jon ZolskyP.S. Karen Anne Stone taught me the word “hiney”, and I am using it relying on her wisdom. But if there is something wrong with the usage, you know who to blame (LOL)

Trisha - it is really very simple and points just represent sweat and blood... and carpal syndrome (LOL)

Vickie - true, but the spark of talent really helps (LOL), What works best is the combination of talent and good hiney.

I read somewhere that bad hiney is, actually, a defect of talent.

Ernie - you do get 25 points for reblogging, and I am not sure whether it is on top of 10 blogs that can post a week, or it is counted towards 10.

Jon:  I loved your post. How far you go on AR is truly in your own hands.  No jealousy is warranted.  As the Nike commercials say "Just DO it!"  (And "hiney" is a perfectly acceptable term.)

1,000,000 is just crazy. I figure it should take 4 years of nonstop action to get to the millionaire plateau

Thanks for the math lesson Jon.  If I get off my hiney and get writing I can be to 300,000 quite quickly as I think I'm just over 10,000 away.  Once again you have motivated me.

Watch for some photos from my trip to Cuba last week.

Kathryn - and that's a pure scientific thing. You can calculate it and know exactly. And so many would still end with a sigh "Oh, I would love to..."

Cindy in Indy, - true. I am absolutely confident that if you offer people a grand a day for doing just regular job, but not a relaxed one, and with some productivity level, and I am sure than a lot of people would jump, but then fall of this program for lack of persistence.

I think you can't make people work just for money, If they are workaholics, they are not able to going steady and consistent for long periods of time.

And there is always the excuse there

Mike - thanks for an excellent reminder. You are correct, I somehow missed it. Yes, you get 100 AR points just for logging in every day, so 700 a week, or cool 36,400 a year for just logging in....

Less than a year...  I'll get my million points.  But, in the end, it doesn't matter.  The connections and relationships I have built along the way are the real value here.
