The United Way of Greenbrier County "Holiday by Design" fundraiser was held December 7th as part of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours hosted by the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau located in downtown Lewisburg, WV.
The event was from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM with hors d'oeuvres, drinks, live music, and a chance to bid on your favorite Christmas tree for the United Way of Greenbrier County "Holiday by Design" fundraiser. Area businesses, schools, nonprofits and civic organizations participated in this fundraiser.
The above Christmas tree themes are breast cancer awareness, culinary and island holidays.
Entries for the "Holiday by Design" fundraiser consisted of eleven 6 1/2 foot trees, ten 3 ft. trees, 16 wreaths, and two swags. Each tree and wreath focused on a theme of the preparer's choice.

There was a silent auction for the trees and wreaths. Those with no bids or low bids were auctioned by Paul Grist, auctioneer with Foxfire Mountain Properties.
The Christmas tree voted the "most favorite" went to Jill Allman of Greenbrier Real Estate Service.
