Newsweek said it: No place beats Texas

I know... it's a tough pill for me to swallow too.  This Southern Louisiana girl begs to differ with the "everyone wants to live in Texas" mentality.  But the truth is, it's a great place to live, work and raise a family.

Newsweek stated in it's recent article "The Top 10 Places in America Poised for Recover":  "For sheer economic promise, no place beats Texas".

I can hear it now... "The Eyes of Texas are Upon you!"

And, according to the article, the new term for the major Metros in Texas is the "Texaplex".  What luck - San Antonio is right in the heart of the Texaplex and has a fabulous Real Estate market.  Green Acres San Antonio is the place to be!

So if you're searching for Real Estate in San Antonio, I hope that you'll call me and give me the opportunity to show you why San Antonio and South Texas should be your new home!

I spent 10 years in San Antonio and it was nice but I really don't miss it. Of course that was BEFORE they got Sea World (they had just broke ground) and all the fun things to do. When I lived there the only thing you did on the River Walk was get mugged...LOL... It sure isn't like that now!

Hey Laura,

I'd have to say that A LOT has changed since you lived here last.  SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas are major attractions now, and the Riverwalk has expanded and is a beautiful (and safe) place to visit.  We also have the World Champion Spurs basketball, Minor League Hockey and Baseball, plus a tremendous Arts community.

Come back and visit sometime - I bet you'd be surprised!
