We all know that real Estate ,and pretty much everything from economies to war run in cycles. Stock and bond boys and girls try to buy low and sell high, I haven't personally known any Stock market types that have been consistently successful, as with the stock market(for Me) hind site is the true market indicater.I do know ,(and consider myself to be a member )quite a few people who have invested low and sold high in the real Estate market for decades. Historically the Real Estate market is slower at it's ups and downs compared to stocks, but that gives the in tune time to jump in or out without getting run over.
I was in Tampa just exploring around and came across some very nice older communities, close to Madill. There are a lot of older two bedroom homes and happily some investors are going in and up with some two story town house type structures that show the upswing in the area.
Fort Myers ,and North fort Myers have older communities filled with the affordable homes that are selling in today's market .Affordable or high end ,Top or bottom, seems like the middle is the hardest hit. You know most of our Real Estate sales in South West Florida, do come from up north ,and with their market ,or lack of, inevitably effecting ours. The Cold and snow will perk things up for us for awhile ,lets not forget to help our investors by letting them in on what's hot.
