Since beginning my real estate career in earnest back in 2005 I have seen many systems on how to do this business. The franchises have them, albeit a tid bit archaic typically, and that is why they still see some success. Since 2005 I have been a working sales person at "The Big Franchise" and the "Small Mom and Pop" offices. The former of which has been sold because the former owner just didn't have a grasp on any sort of system at all.
Working at the Big Franchise sort of opened my eyes to what is needed to make it in this business and over the long haul in any market. Although their systems were a bit dated, they were systems none the less and that is why there are still agents that thrive in that environment. Systems is the key. A bonafide hands down winning system that when applied offers a steady flow of warmth to your pipeline of Buyers, Sellers and even Renters if you are fortunate enough to do business in a resort destination like myself, The Pocono Mountains.
I think because I was brand new to the sales industry overall, but had been in a production environment my whole life, I was able to lay fresh eyes on what was happening and what was needed to make it better, a full proof system that just needs to be applied over time. The agents at my office are all implementing this system now. When you combine this system with an agents sphere of influence and their own personal nuances to the business it makes for a Lid Blowing experience. Everyone works with the public differently but the system NEVER has to change. Just work it and then use your own personal touches to cement the deal.
At Pocono Mountain Lakes Realty we have already expanded our offices to accommodate more agents. The system works and it is one of the reasons I believe we have grown from 3 agents about 13 months ago to 13 presently and we are still looking for a few more who are willing to apply the systems and allow that Warm Pipeline to GROW. Any Pocono Realtors interested in a Good Change please feel free to email or call me for a discreet interview.
