Very interesting trivia about Los Angeles, Ralph! I didn't really think about the fact that L.A. has 5 counties, but now I know. Congratulations on having this post featured! :)

Ralph - My daughter lives in Manhattan Beach, just south of you.  I had no idea that LA had that many people, or that it took up 5 counties!

LA is a little too big for me, but I know it has great areas. I didn't realize that it was that big geographically speaking. Congrats on your feature.

So where's the commentary about the 405? It is the 405 right, that makes people want to cringe?

Whenever I complain about San Francisco area traffic my LA friends tell we don't have traffic up here! No wonder, I never knew that LA spanned a 5 county area. Very informative post and great photography!

Ralph - This is a great list of fun facts.  I didn't realize LA County would be the fourth largest state all by itself.

If it were a country it would be the 58th largest by population. Thanks for the post.

Ralph -- A population of 20 million?  Well, that's certainly a lot of people to get into housing!  I was only there once on a brief stopover.  Would LOVE to get back at some point.
