Food served at Broker Tours What works?

I always serve food at my Broker Open Tours. I believe it helps with showing numbers. I usually get more that the other agents. Last week at the MLS meeting just before the tour I advertised Non alcoholic White Riesling, no sugar,no calories and no taste, (bottled water) and string cheese. I find that if they drop bottled water or string cheese it doesn't make a problem on white carpets.

Years ago in my own home I offered little sub sandwiches. We spent quite awhile picking up lettuce and olives from one end of the house to the other. I decided that we won't do that in a clients home as a vacuum cleaner doesn't fit my hands.

A word to the wise, I served Bran muffins and Prune juice. I announced it at the MLS meeting and attendance at more showing was real poor, I got the message! What works best for you?

We tried "Recession Sandwiches" once: PB&J and Dixie cups of milk. Apparently not as funny as we thought.

Lunch usually works and if you have other Broker Opens serving lunch the same time cookies and coffee works best.

What I have found is if you have a property in a difficult locations, even lobster rolls don't bring them out!

Rob, I have found fruit trays work well for me. I serve food so my fellow Realtors slow down enough to actually notice a little detail of the home.

Bob: I like the fruit tray idea! I haven't thought of that. Speaking of slowing down and looking. I leave water and granola bars in vacant homes.

Cheese and crackers seem to work well but once again the crackers might leave crumbs you'll have to clean vacuum later.
