Motivational Power Quote

Keep Your Mind Healthy

"The secret of health for both mind and body

is not to mourn the past,

not to worry about the future,

or not to anticipate troubles,

but to live in the present moment

wisely and earnestly."

Buddha, Spiritual Teacher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Keep your mind healthy

Focus your mind in the present moments in your life. Focus on what can be and what you can do to make your moments be all of what they can be.

Don't drift into the past and become distracted in the past moments in your life and what it use to be.

Don't worry about the future on things that may never be.

Focus in your moment of the present and in those moments you make your future of what you want it to be.

Nurture you mind with healthy thoughts and your mind will grow. Expand your thinking and your mind will expand and never return to its original size.

Live in the moments of your life and you will make the moments in your life work for you. In your moments you will find that you'll live a full and productive life.

Keep your mind healthy and your mind will nourish your success journey.

Lou - There is much to be learned from the mystical experiences of the east.. among them to remain calmly focused on the future through the prism of today.  Thanks for sharing another opportunity for growth!

Living in the moment allows us to experience it in it's fullest regardless of the situation.  Nicely done.

Lou, simply stated..... and easy to do. Be present and enjoy the moment.  My frustration comes when others want to reiterate the past, over and over again.... "he said, she said"..... I try to be an attentive listener, but, gosh it gets really hard to focus when in my mind I am saying "get over it"!

Is there a polite way to let someone know, that what happened to them in the past, years and years ago, (not a great memory to be shared and is of interest) but, just"blah, blah, blah" is just taking up my time..... I have a neighbor who just shows up, wants to come in, and "talk" about her past and her problems, she makes every little problem, my problem, or tries to....

Lou, very well said. The biggest challenge for me is...

is not to mourn the past,

How do I get rid of it - easily?

The words are so simple but the task is most difficult. Work on it everyday.

I always put my clients first in any transaction!
RE/MAX Professionals.

This proverb is so much easier said than done. I think of it as more of a goal to aspire to rather than an absolute to a happy life...

Lou, I'm so glad I read this today!  I've been beating myself up about something that happened, I will for this minute forward concentrate on the present.
