Sprint To Introduce 3 D Phone, Think of the Listing Pics

Okay maybe the use of 3D has finally found a good fit. 3D has been introduced to the movie and TV world with a luke warm reception, maybe it is those silly glasses. The beauty part here is that the 3D phone will not require said glasses, content will be viewable in 3D with the glasses. Users will be able to shoot video and take photos in 3D and view them on the phone in 3D.

Sprint is already working with Blockbuster to bring 3D content as well as 3D movies to the phone, but here is where it gets really cool. The 3D feature will be available on the new Evo View, a 4G 7 inch screen tablet powered by Android.

Imagine the possibilities when creating listing presentations. Imagine using the two in tandem, bring up your website on the 3D tablet, and use your 3D phone as the camera and you have 3D live streaming video to show homes, or do live streaming open houses.

As with all technology, it isn't the actual advancement in technology of a device, it is the adaptation to practical use that matters. This is really cool, now what are we going to do with. I for one am waiting anxiously for the new phone and tablet, my mind is racing with ideas.

Hello All, the pic of the wagons is from the High Water Mark on the battlefield. It was taken with my Kodak Playtouch. Extrememly high definition. That camera was a great buy and is very easy to use.

Thanks for stopping by, this particular pic came out really nice.

Gerry - I have Roxio 2011 and it has a built in app to make all photos in 3d as well as making 3d videos. I use win7 and it works great. I have played around with it a bit but me personally, I don't have the use for it yet . I'm sure that there may one day be an applicable place to post these 3d pics... Just a thought... and yes that pic is really crystal clear but not 3d of course... lol

I think I will pass on that. I am the consumer who seeks out the NON 3D movies. They make me a little queasy.

I love 3D movies, and the thought of 3D pics on my phone is very exciting.  I am a Sprint customer so I am especially anxious to hear more about it.  Goes to show you that you shouldn't jump right in with new technology because there is sure to be a "newer" upgrade right around the corner.
