Getting Ready to Sell Your Home on Long Island.

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Sherlock Homes

The Real Estate market on Long Island is getting busy.  If you are thinking of putting your home on the market there are a few things you need to do to get ready.

Make Sure you have all your paperwork, such as surveys, deed, utility bills and certificates for any work done to your home.

Contact your Realtor to discuss recent sales and homes currently on the market.

Contact a Stager to help you ready your home for viewings.

Contact an Inspector to discuss a pre-sale inspection to take care of work the home may need.

Once you put your home on the market please keep your grounds landscaped and your home neat and tidy.  If your home is priced well and is being aggressively marketed then the only thing you need to be sure to do is keep it available for showings.

Well, we certainly agree with you Liz that the Long Island market is getting busy. Are you seeing many buyers moving back to LI like we are? So many who have moved away are ready to come back. Whether it's job, family, or missing our Long Island living, we are seeing a large number relocating back here!

LIz that pic is by far a classic Lon Gisland (no spelling error I know you what I am saying) home. It is amazing how just a simple picture can bring on such a flood of memories. Thanks
