Well here we are in the month of October. You made it through the hot selling season which we call Summer. However, the Summer wasn't so hot for most Realtors. Sales are down, inventory is up and loans are now becoming a little more difficult for the folks who really need them such as first time home buyers.
Now is not the time to relax and think about the Holidays coming up. There is time for that later. You have to look at October as the final stretch to make some great sales before the end of the year. Just as you look at January as a fresh start to try new things, develop new programs, exercise new strategies and start off with a bang, you really need to do that for this last quarter.
October, November and December (well kind-0f December) can still be great selling months. People are still trying to get into a home before Winter comes, they want to be in a new home before the start of the new year, they enjoy being out and looking more in these cooler months than in the dreaded heat of Summer.
I encourage you to give October and the next 2 months a great big push and end your year on a high note. The buyers are out there and just waiting for you. Best wishes everyone.
