It is with great pride that I announce the following candidates have successfully completed all of the requirements to become certified by the Academy of Staging and Redesign. They have earned the designations Certified Staging Specialist and Certified Redesign Specialist. They are our two most highly coveted designations, and cannot be purchased - they must be earned.
A certification designation is worthless if all one has to do to get it is to pay for it - as some of our competing trainers offer. I know of one that will sell a CD with an ebook and include the certification file right on the CD for the student to fill in and print off, without ever reading the ebook, without ever answering any questions to prove they have any knowledge or training at all, without ever proving they can actually apply what they've learned in a meaningful and professional manner in real homes.
It's a joke! It's an affront to all legitimate trainers who offer a quality education and demand some sort of accountability.
What makes these designation more highly prized than any other designation in the industry is that it is the only designation that requires both an EXAM and a PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION FOR APPROVAL as proof of operating at a truly professional level. No other designation to our knowledge requires both. So that makes it unique. It makes it special. It makes it legitimate. And it gives each qualified candidate the ability to market their designation at a much higher, more powerful, more competitive level.
So the following candidates are head and shoulders above all others who have not gone to such lengths to achieve whatever designation they claim to have. That makes them super achievers. That makes them the cream of the crop. So please join me in congratulating the following candidates: Marina Dumas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (who is a pioneer in her country); Lyn Westhall of Normal, IL (who doesn't let a set back stop her); and Jamie Burruto of Pittsford, NY (who never gives up). We are very, very proud of each of these women and wish them continued success as they move forward to build strong, successful businesses.
