A bunch of fruits helped sell this house to my buyers

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

Yep, the house was exactly the same as the one next door, but the difference was a bunch of fruits in the back yard. The backyard had grapes, apples, plums, and even an Asian pear tree.

This house wasn't anything special and neither was the neighborhood, but because this seller planted these items 15 years ago, today, it helped them sell their home! If you own a home and have the room for trees, and want pies or canned fruit, and want to increase the perceived value of your home in a few years, PLANT A TREE!

Apple Tree                      Asian Pear Tree                  Grape Vines                      Plum Tree

I was amazed at the difference a backyard made. For more information on great trees to plant in your yard to increase the value of your property in the Pacific Northwest, feel free to call or e-mail me anytime.

Tina - Thank you for that and we are getting closer to that wonderful clsoe. Just one condintion to meet for the lender still.

Kaushik - She looked at both homes, but it was the backyard appeal that sold her for sure!

Gary - You can sell the fruit for .40 a pound make a pie and sell it for $8 a pound. Think ourside the box man!

Keisha - Well said!

Nancy - Pineapple? OK, How cool! We just don't get to see that hear, the pineapple would drown.

Darrell - Believe me I was surprised this agent didn't promote those at all in her listing. I would have taken pictures of everyone of them and posted it loud and proud.

Dwight - No nuts here, usually I reserve places in my comments section for nuts. (Hey, by the way how are you doing?) How do you not get hot always wearing a white jacket year round in Florida?

Linda - Be grateful I don't have a picture of you also then - lol

Patricia - And for some reason it tastes so much better. My kids even prefer it and don't know why.

Becky - They hadn't had a showing on this property when we looked at it. I think they could have raised the price, if they had advertised the trees.

LOL I always opt for a fruit tree when we are getting new things to plant in the house. It's functional and beautiful ;)

Cheers,

Cindy

I prefer that straight jacket with a Nehru collar!  Folks, the fashionable head gear is for homes located near high-power electric lines.

those are making me want fruits! It reminds me of back home when I was a kid. My dad planted a plumb tree and two cherry trees. I loved those things! The neighbor had an apple tree, he didn't mind if I climbed onto the fence and grabbed some. :)

Cindy - Coming from a stagger that is encouraging.

Dwight - Pay backs are fun aren't they - lol

Rick - I loved black cherries as a kid. Those things were so awesome and the cherry juice after they were canned was a bonus!
