San Diego Association Of Realtors Merges With Local Commercial Real Estate Group.

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Crescent Moon Realty, Inc. & Land N Sea Auctions.

San Diego Association of Realtors has merged with a commercial real estate group to promote more networking between the two fields. The smaller Commercial Real Estate Alliance of San Diego will become an affiliate of the Realtor's organization, resulting in a group of 11,400 members, which will make it the largest local Realtors association in the state.

The commercial group used to be know as the Commercial Realtors Association of San Diego. The groups mutually came together in the decision which echoes efforts from National Association of Realtors to bridge the gap between residential and commercial.

NAR is really pushing the commercial side a lot more. The merger will mean more networking opportunities for members and continuing education courses.. San Diego Association of Realtors is contemplating offering an introductory course on commercial real estate, how to value properties, cap rates and determining net income.  This merger offers a great referral base.

Jim:

It seems that each division has a boundary line that is difficult to cross, so we will see how this plays out, thanks for stopping by.
